I love simple cards. Especially for boys because I always feel so limited creatively when it comes to embellishments.
Black cardstock is my manly touch too :)
Materials used:
4 1/4 x 5 1/2 (A2) Recollections black cardstock(8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper cut in half)
4 x 5 1/4 shimmery blue cardstock I picked up from an estate sale
3 3/4 x 5 heavy striped glitter cardstock (from DCWV The Glitter Stack)
I lined the bottom with a striking thick blue glitter cardstock that is hard to see (also DCWV from their glitter cardstock matstack). It came in a 4.5" x 6.5" pack and I love to use it for embellishments.
I lined it with a $1 roll of ribbon from Michaels.
Simple sentiment stamped on the inside and I felt complete. This would make a cute baby shower design for a little boy too, at which point you could add tons of fun embellishments and not worry about being too feminine with the design :)
